Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
How do I know if my child needs speech therapy?
Every child develops at their own pace, but if you notice your child struggling to be understood, having difficulty following directions, or showing delays compared to peers, it may be a good idea to seek an evaluation. We’re here to help guide you through that process.
Do I need a doctor's referral to begin services?
No referral is required to start with us. You can reach out directly to schedule an evaluation or consultation.
How long are therapy sessions?
Most sessions are about 30–45 minutes, depending on your child’s needs and attention span. We’ll recommend what’s best during the evaluation.
How often will my child need therapy?
Frequency depends on each child’s goals and progress. Some children benefit from once-a-week sessions, while others may need more frequent support.
Do you accept insurance?
We are private pay at this time. We will accept insurance in the future.
What if my child is shy or resistant to therapy?
That’s completely normal! Our sessions are designed to be fun, engaging, and encouraging. We often use play, music, and creative activities to help children feel comfortable.
How does virtual therapy work?
Virtual therapy is done through a secure video platform. Families receive a link before the session, and we guide you step by step to make it simple and effective from home.
